The Ant Kids charity was set up by Anthony in 2009 which aids and supports disadvantaged, ill and socially deprived children in Sheffield.
In 2004 Anthony was appointed on the board of trustees for South Yorkshire’s number 1 radio station’s charity, Help a Hallam Child. During his time with the organisation he saw what delight a local charity can bring to underprivileged children within the community and revelled in the joy and happiness it brought to the area. Anthony then decided to set up Ant Kids to carry on supporting the local children. For 11 years Ant Kids has continued to deliver support to those who require any extra help in order to maintain a good quality of life.
The charity receives constant support from Ant Marketing employees who host regular charity fundraising activities such as dress down Friday, fancy dress days, Christmas shoe box and toy appeal, department tuck shops and selling baked goods. Most recently one of our employees participated in a skydive in order to raise money for Ant Kids, dropping from 13,000ft and raising over £1,000! The money raised has gone on to help children in Sheffield by organising free gifts and equipment, financial support, and fun activities such as arranging a trip to the pantomime at Sheffield City Hall at Christmas time.
