Ant Marketing Sheffield is currently celebrating 20 very successful years in business, we have 2 sites based in Sheffield and this vacancy is to work at our Head Office that is situated in Broomhill Sheffield.

We are looking for a highly competitive individual who is commercially astute and self motivated. You will be representing Ant Marketing and therefore you need to be professional, switched on, ambitious and have a proactive self-managing approach to your workload. Generating new business leads from several industry sectors you will work closely with the Account Director and in order to ensure the future profitability of the business you will have to deliver the expected business targets.

In return you will have the opportunity to earn more based on your performance.  You will also enjoy all the benefits usually associated with this position and the package will reflect your previous experience and potential.

Other Qualifying Criteria

    * Minimum of 2 years proven telesales experience
    * Live in Sheffield area
    * Have experience of Windows, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint
    * 5 GCSE’s must include Maths and English 

Salary of £16k - £18k basic + commission and bonus package

We are looking for a reliable, hard working, motivated individual who has a proactive approach to achieving and exceeding targets, to work on our new exciting campaign. Previous telesales experience highly desired for this role as is previous experience of selling insurance.

The role


Making outbound calls to potential customers to offer quotes for life insurance. Working in a small friendly team we need new people because we are expanding the team due to their success.
Ongoing training is provided to ensure our staff can meet their full potential, both in terms of career progression and bonus payments.

Free NVQ qualifications undertaken within your first year

Hours: 12 – 8pm Mon – Thu, and 11am – 7pm Fri

Rate of Pay £6 per hour initially rising to £7 per hour on successful sales achievement plus fantastic bonus potential-

The Role

Based at our UK headquarters in Broomhill, Sheffield, the successful applicant will concentrate their efforts and skills on outbound calling to businesses in order to facilitate quality appointments on behalf of our Clients. You will take responsibility for developing and maintaining your own pipeline of activity, building relationships with customers, providing feedback to the Team Manager and diligently working towards your own performance targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Appointment generation.

  • Developing and maintaining your own pipeline of contacts.

  • Promotion of product to consumers.

  • Providing feedback on market activity to the Team Manager.

The Successful Candidate Will

  • Have an excellent telephone manner.

  • Have experience in an outbound sales role

  • Be ambitious.

  • Be target driven and show consistency in results.

  • Be self-motivated

  • Part time ( 20 hours per week +) considered.

The Package

  • An hourly rate of £6.15 - £7.00 per hour plus bonus (OTE £19k ++ uncapped).

  • Monday to Friday Working Week.
